2 Applicability
These terms apply to all orders placed through the Le Rivage webshop and to all purchases made in our physical store.
By placing an online order the customer agrees to these terms.

3 Products
We aim to present and describe our products as accurately as possible. Small colour variations may occur due to screen settings. Such variations cannot be used as grounds for free returns or complaints. Obvious errors in pricing, availability or descriptions do not bind Le Rivage.

4 Prices and payment
All prices are listed in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs and any additional fees are shown before checkout.
Orders are processed only after full payment has been successfully completed.

5 Shipping and delivery
Orders are shipped within the timeframe stated on the Shipping and Returns page. We rely on external carriers and cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, new shipping costs will apply.

Le Rivage is responsible for the package until it has been delivered by the carrier to the address provided by the customer.
Once the carrier marks the package as delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.
If a package arrives damaged or items are missing, the customer must report this within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate with the carrier. After this period we can no longer accept claims.

6 Store pickup
For store pickup the customer receives an email once the order is ready.
Pickup is possible only during the opening hours stated on the website.
The customer must show the order confirmation email when collecting the order.
Pickup orders remain available for 30 days.
After 30 days the order will be cancelled and refunded minus a five euro administration fee.

7 Right of withdrawal for online orders
For online purchases the customer may return the order within 14 days of receiving it.
The customer must first notify Le Rivage by email before returning any items.
Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.
After notifying us the customer has 14 more days to send the items back.
Refunds are issued within 14 days after we have received and inspected the returned items.

8 Items excluded from return
The following items cannot be returned

earring
-
perfumes that have been opened or used
-
any item with visible signs of wear, damage or use

items returned without prior email notification
Used, contaminated or damaged items will not be accepted.

9 Condition of returned items
Items must be unused, undamaged and complete, preferably in the original packaging.
Returns may be refused or refunded only partially if the item

is visibly worn
-
smells of perfume, smoke or other scents

has damaged packaging
-
has missing parts or accessories

10 In store purchases
Items purchased in our physical store can be exchanged within 14 days with the original receipt.
Cash refunds are not offered for in store purchases.
Exchanges are possible for another product or store credit.

11 Complaints
Concerns or complaints can be sent to rivage.maastricht@gmail.com.
We aim to respond within 14 days and will work with the customer to find a suitable solution.

12 Liability
Le Rivage is not responsible for damage caused by improper use of a product or failure to follow instructions.
Liability is always limited to the amount paid for the product unless there is intent or gross negligence.

13 Force majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances outside our control, such as carrier delays, strikes or technical issues, Le Rivage may postpone or alter the delivery of an order.
The customer will be informed as soon as possible.

14 Applicable law
All agreements between Le Rivage and the customer are governed by Dutch law.
